I have not had short hair since 1985. My long blonde pony trail has been a part of me for so long and has been part of my "brand" forever. But as my 50th birthday is approaching, I think it is time for a change. So on the evening of the Golden Classics concert, I will be cutting off that pony tail and donating it to the children's cancer organization Locks Of Love.

As part of the fun, every ticket for the concert will be numbered. We will have a drawing before the finale of the concert to see who get to cut the ponytail off! Yep, come to the show and maybe you can be the person to lop it off! I like being silly. I like having fun. I hope that you find this fun too.

To be held in the beautiful sanctuary of St.John’s Lutheran Church

700 S.Franklin Street, Denver (WashingtonPark)
FRIDAY MARCH 31, 7:00 - 9:30 PM

Here is more about Locks Of Love.

Locks of Love is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the United States and Canada under age 21 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis. We meet a unique need for children by using donated hair to create the highest quality hair prosthetics. Most of the children helped by Locks of Love have lost their hair due to a medical condition called alopecia areata, which has no known cause or cure. The prostheses we provide help to restore their self-esteem and their confidence, enabling them to face the world and their peers.
